Kristin S. Wacha is an Ohio licensed attorney and native northwest Ohioan. She attended Miami University as an undergraduate and earned her Juris Doctor from the Pennsylvania State University’s Dickinson School of Law.
Since then, she has worked with municipalities, a Fortune 500 petrochemical corporation and represented a publicly traded real estate investment trust. She spent several years practicing law at Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP, the largest law firm in Northwest Ohio and most recently as a Partner in the firm of Wacha & Justen LLC since 2013.
Her practice focuses on Family Law, Elder law and Estate Planning, and some ongoing business and real estate matters. She serves as Defense Counsel for the Henry County Family and Juvenile Intervention Courts.
Ms. Wacha is trained/certified in Collaborative Law, Mediation, Guardian ad Litem work and serves as a Parenting Coordinator. Most recently, she has undergone the training for Elder Law Coordination and Mediation.
Ms. Wacha is the President of the Henry County Bar Association, serves on the Northwest Ohio Grievance Committee, is a board member of Christian Community Legal Services and serves as an Ohio Bar Exam Reader for the Supreme Court of Ohio
Ms. Wacha lives in Waterville Ohio with her husband and children and is active with Boy Scouts, a variety of musical pursuits, and raises and shows rabbits with her son Nicholas for ARBA and 4-H.
